WALT: summarise information and give my opinion
Te whiti and Tohu are inspiratinal leaders because they did not think war was the way to solve things.
Te Whiti and Tohu decided to not to fight back because they knew they would lose if they did fight back. They were inspirational leaders because they knew there was no use fighting over New Zealand.
The Europeans are idiots because they didn't follow the law or bring peace. The Maori made the right decision not to fight back.
